Revive: The Backbone of Astra Nova’s Economy

When it came down to choosing the ultimate token design for a Web3 RPG, Astra Nova understands that gamers are here to game, not necessarily govern, so we made the main currency of the world a transactional currency.

That currency is the Revive Token ($RVV) — the token which is the native currency of the Astra Nova ecosystem.

After token launch on Q4 2024, Astra Nova plans to implement several key mechanisms to preserve and maintain token value and utility. Here are some of the main methods:

1. Battle Pass Campaign:

This is the primary revenue mechanism for Astra Nova. It is a tried and tested model, used by many successful free-to-play games (Dota2, Fortnite, Rocket League etc).

In Astra Nova, our community will be encouraged to participate in this campaign by subscribing to our Seasonal Battle Pass programs. Community members will have to complete various tasks and competitions in order to earn XP, which will help them climb leaderboard rankings, thereby earning them higher rewards. Rewards may include RVV token bundles, limited edition NFTs, upgrades to existing NFTs, etc.

Community members can only pay for this subscription with RVV tokens.

There will be 2 types of payments:

1. Base subscription Fee — A min. amount, in order to let members participate (approx. USD10/- worth tokens).
2. XP upgrades — If a player wants to skip ahead of certain tasks or competitions, he can buy XP packs. These will be limited to a certain number every week — usually a max. of USD 500/- worth of RVV tokens.

Competition and tasks would include:

1. Design contests for in-game NFTs
2. Story progressions, fan-fiction
3. Social contests (like, RT, subscribe), and many more.

2. Astra Nova’s Mini Game (planned to roll out towards end of 2024 year)

We’ll be launching our mobile based minigame using our Deviants sub-brand in which users will utilise RVV to participate in certain missions and also be able to buy playable NFTs using RVV token. These NFTs will be carry forwarded to the main game and give additional perks to users.

3. Black Pass — Phase 2 (Retention Model):

Black Pass is Astra Nova’s loyalty program, which essentially acts as a SocialFi mechanism for community members to interact and earn with Astra Nova.

Every community member, who signs up for this program, gets a loyalty card, in the form of a soul-bound NFT. On the dashboard of every player, there will be a host of upcoming socialFi campaigns mentioned and each time a player participates, they will earn “shards”. These shards can then be exchanged for either RVV tokens, NFTs, or graphic novels/webcomics. These shards will also reflect on their NFT.

After token launch, this program will hold a unique feature: A staking mechanism for RVV tokens, that rewards players with airdrops for promising/upcoming projects.

How this works: When community members stake RVV tokens, they get the following:

1. Shards
2. Airdrops from promising projects — these include projects that have already launched or top tier projects about to launch.
3. Beta Access to Demo Games.
4. Access to Astra Nova’s exclusive Alpha Group, for investment opportunities in highly anticipated upcoming projects.

4. IRL Voucher Program (in partnership with Tillo.io):

Community members will get to exchange RVV for exclusive vouchers to IRL products. Tillo provides a host of discounts for over 2000+ brands across 100+ countries. These brands include Adidas, Nike, Starbucks, Uber, Spotify etc. Community members can use RVV tokens to get discounts up to 50% for any of these brands.

For instance, if a community member uses our platform to purchase a tillo voucher, they would be able to purchase a USD 500/- Nike coupon for USD 300/- worth RVV tokens.

5. Upcoming NFT Launches and Dedicated Marketplaces:

New NFT collections will always prioritize RVV holders and sales made in RVV.
